Three adults stand indoors in a school hallway next to a vertical sign that reads “Francis Marion School,” features an A+ College Ready seal, and lists “2024–2025.” The person on the left wears a blazer and holds a certificate or document, the person in the center wears a black suit and smiles, and the person on the right wears a white shirt with a striped tie. A school mural and photo display are visible in the background.

We are thrilled to share that Francis Marion School has been awarded the prestigious School of Excellence Award.

Mr. Demetrice Jackson, principal, and Dr. Theresa King, assistant principal, proudly accepted the award, presented by A+ Representative Mr. John Richey, in recognition of our students’ outstanding PSAT performance during the 2024-2025 school year.

The award was presented on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to our teachers, families, and the entire Perry County Schools community for supporting our learners every step of the way.
