The Perry County Schools Pre-K team is excited to attend the Alabama Early Childhood Education Conference, themed “Playology Revolution: Transforming Learning One Joyful Step at a Time,” October 28–30, 2025, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) in Birmingham, AL.
This annual gathering brings together thousands of early childhood educators, administrators, policymakers, and advocates from across the state to explore the importance of play in early learning through research-based and innovative sessions.
Our dedicated Pre-K team is gaining valuable knowledge and hands-on strategies to enhance classroom instruction and ensure our youngest learners continue to grow, explore, and thrive in a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment.

Per Mr. Jackson’s request, we are asking all parents who have not yet completed the District Network and Acceptable Use Policy for the Perry County School District to please do so as soon as possible. To complete the form, simply scan the QR code or follow the link provided. Completion of this policy is required for students to access the district’s computer network and online resources. It is also necessary if you would like your child’s picture to be published on the school’s website, Facebook page, or other official postings. Thank you for your prompt attention and cooperation in helping us ensure that all students have full access to instructional technology and media opportunities. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf2B543I-qo_sA-WUEyk32GUMJ3WUfC5b3Rgic4OOD3L5zdwg/viewform

Professional Development Day was held today at R.C. Hatch High School. The sessions were engaging and informative, keeping everyone actively involved. A special shout out to Ms. Allen, Ms. Wiggins, and Mrs. Sellers for stepping up and leading sessions of their own. Your willingness to share your expertise truly enhanced the day!

Perry County educators recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in the Hope Institute with Liz Huntley. This professional development experience allowed our teachers to engage in innovative strategies, explore new approaches to student support, and strengthen their skills in creating inclusive and empowering learning environments.
