The Perry County School District is committed to ensuring that every student builds strong foundational skills in reading and math. Through the Alabama Literacy Act and the Alabama Numeracy Act, our schools are providing additional support, targeted instruction, and intervention opportunities to help all students reach grade-level proficiency.

The Francis Marion Cross Country Team raced at the Billingsley Crossbone MX Ranch on October 11th in a fun Halloween-themed event, sporting creative Gatorade bottle costumes. Jadarius Carlisle placed 2nd and Jamarian Essex placed 3rd, and to top it off, the team won Best Team Costume!
